This small master bath was original to the historic home. The client actually loved the look and feel of the room overall, however, the finishes were in bad shape and no longer functional. The goal was to bring the space back to life, add storage, ease of cleaning, and maintain the integrity of the bathroom’s original style. We refinished the period-style cast iron tub. We chose classic subway tile for the walls and hexagon mosaic floor tile. We updated the sink area with a console table featuring polished chrome legs. To increase storage, tall custom linen and wall cabinets were installed. To further maximize the space, a recessed medicine cabinet was installed at the sink and niches were built into the shower area. A modern accent tile adds a touch of color and texture to the space. Small details such as the marble sill at the window and a shaving mirror in the shower show how every inch was well thought through and maximized for the best customer experience.
